- Sep 12-16: AFS 2010 goes to Pittsburgh.
- WA-BC AFS and Seattle 2011 Trade Show Booth – We are Booth # 1 – Please stop by to help promote 2011
- Come and hear the Seattle 2011 presentation during the AFS Business Meeting on Tuesday afternoon.
- Cheer when our Chapter President, Jim Shannon, accepts the award for Chapter of the Year at the AFS Business Meeting on Tuesday afternoon.
- Team 2011 Planning meeting, Wednesday, 3:30 – 5:30, room 306 of the Convention Center. Open to anyone interested in helping out in Seattle 2011.

- Sep 22-23: An Introduction to Electrofishing class will be offered by Smith-Root, Inc. in Vancouver, WA.
- Sep 27-30: Wild Trout Symposium will be held in West Yellowstone, MT.
- Oct 14: The Oregon Chapter AFS is organizing a 1-day Salmon in the City Symposium in Portland, OR.
- Oct 14-16: The 3rd Annual WDAFS Student Colloquium will be hosted by the Palouse Unit in Moscow, ID. Details:Student Colloquium
- Oct 28: Columbia River Fisheries Program Office semiar series in Vancouver, WA. Speaker: Roger Denlinger, USGS.
2011
- Jan 3-9: Eighth Annual Marine Resources Population Dynamics Workshop in Summerland Key, Florida. All expenses will be paid for students selected to attend – applications are due on October 13, 2010.
- Jan 20: Columbia River Fisheries Program Office semiar series in Vancouver, WA. – Speaker: Julian Olden, University of Washington.
